At the late night double feature picture show
Yesterday I was fortunate enough to see Fry not once, but twice. Yay!!! It was sooooo nice seeing her again. And hearing her talk about college was really exciting. At lunch she suggested we go to rocky horror at midnight. Hmmm...the chances of this happening, knowing my folks, was slim to nill. Unbelievably, mom said yes.
Then Fry had to bail because off her folks (taking two others down with her, so our group was considerably smaller) :( They said she couldn't leave the house until they were home from dc and they were late, so she missed it--but she came to denny's at 3 in the morning anyway, so we got to see her afterall!
So, off I was to university mall, the shittiest mall ever (Don't get mad, kids. I grew up on university mall. Me dissing it is like me dissing NJ, it's allowed only because I've been there and done that.) looking somewhat like a prostitute (i.e. completely appropriate for the occasion. I definately was an interesting contrast to the homecoming group).
Being that I was under 18, they couldn't mime annally raping me for being a virgin, so they had to settle for making me perform 'mary had a little lamb' in the tone of britany spears. It wasn't that bad, but I must have looked otherwise because on his way up the ailse the mc/frankenfurter touched my arm and was like, 'are you okay?' in such a teacher like tone that it was scary/funny/downright bizarre.
The show was okay. I was a bit disapointed with the commentary, it probably would have been better if there hadn't been so many people that who hadn't seen it (they were lying and i know it). The actors were nice enough (before and after the show)---even if janet was really really annoying (her nose was GINORMOUS and she was bouncing dangerously in the cut of bra she was wearing. She was gonna fall out!)
As I said before, we went to denny's afterward, caught up, gossiped, trashed, etc. MAking my arrival time at home around 4:30 in the morning. It was alot of fun though. I'll have to do it again sometime.
