"Is that what you really want me to be, darling, normal? Some boring-old, normal-old, toilet goer?"

Bike for the win, ladies and gentlemen. I was able to get all of the day's errands done whilst astride my beautiful, old, yet-unnamed, two wheeled conveyance and then I got to ride around town exploring for a couple of hours. I even timed how long it took to get from one of my babysitting charges' house to mine, so that I can start biking there on Sunday mornings. Or any other time I'm with him, now that I think of it. I did take note of how my jean capris rode and asked Matt what could be done about potential and/or actual chaffing, and was informed that it involved Lycra and not underwear, both of which I'm fully prepared for. Thank you, Girl Scout camp. Tomorrow I'm going riding again with Zach, which will no doubt be a hoot, as he is fun on his own and knows many more places to ride than I, so wild exploration will no doubt occur.

Also, I seem to have become a stereotype. After a long day of fun (which did included a fair bit of cleaning) I'm drinking a Cosmo and watching Absolutely Fabulous. For something that came out of a tiny bottle, it does pack a wallop I had not expected. Plus I still have a Short's Soft Parade in the fridge that I fully intend to have tonight, as it's been there for a long time and I both need the space for chicken goodies tomorrow and wish to drink it.

For whatever reason, I've been on such a British comedy kick lately. I think I've been missing the language even more than the idiom itself, which isn't unusual when I'm missing good conversation. Side thought: is Joanna Lumley ever not wonderful? Sigh. It's Lacroix, darling.

We need a game night. That is all.
