As ever, I keep meaning to update, then things happen, I get sleepy and go to bed, and the update never happens. A set of bullet points will basically bring you up to speed and tomorrow I can post in depth about the craziness that was my day today.
- Adeline and Gabriel now adore each other with almost equal intensity. Gabriel being able to talk like maniac has endeared him to her to no end.
- Met some cool WIDR fans who liked me very much and missed my old shows.
- Matt and I have talked even less than usual, so those who were asking for an update should cease holding their breath. You'll pass out and hit your head on the coffee table. I am, in fact, still incredibly single, which leads us into...
- ... me getting creeped on by wholly unsuitable dudes every single time I go out, and even when I got my car untowed.
- Other Matt gave me his old computer, which turned out to be better than any computer I've ever had, even dared dream of, so I'm finally up speed digitally and will be even more savvy tomorrow, when Sam will be giving me a webcam. Everything I need to do works and works quickly!
- Had no fewer than a dozen people tell me I was hot, including a drunk girl who told me I was the most beautiful woman she'd ever seen in real life.
- Last night, I got to see Garrison Keillor and he sang us a sonnet about going down on his wife. It wasn't graphic, so it didn't totally freak out the elderly woman sitting next to me.
- I figured out a way to get back to grad school, but I think it's going to involve some pretty big-to-me changes, but who knows, things may be more awesome than I thought. We'll see in nine months.
- Perhaps the biggest, I cut my hair. 26 inches of it, to be exact. It's an insane story, but I'll post it and before/after pics soon.
There's more and I'm sure I'll remember it eventually, but if nothing else I'm updating again. I've missed it and, dare I say, needed it. Now I need to find food, because this day has been ridiculous and under-nourishing.
