Ugh, so many things unblogged. Oh well. Short and sweet is that I've been busy with the kidlets, being social, and prepping for NaNoWriMo. I decided to give it another shot this year even though I'll have zero support and no one for feedback. I'm willing to get back on the horse without the saddle. It's just silly to wait for one when there's a perfectly good horse in front of you eager to hit the dusty trail.
I've had a long, but good weekend at the end of a long, but good week, so I'm going to pass out in short order. My day starts at 6 tomorrow, as I'm getting the twins up an off to school the next two days. However, there are some bullet points worth mentioning.
- Because of an unexpected five day opening at Gabriel's day care, I'm no longer with him on a regular basis. :(
- Thanks to Matt and The Dark Horse, I learned that I like IPA. As I told him, if you'd simply said 'grapefruit beer' I'd've been all over this long ago.
- I was all set to Halloween it up this year as a sexy pirate, but after trying on the costume, feeling the breeze, and knowing exactly how many people I want to see my bare bum in a night, I decided to return it and find something that wasn't wholly unsuitable. I'm looking for ideas.
- I finally perfected my apple crisp. Culinary woot.
