after prom update
so....i have glitter EVERYWHERE.glitter is infesting my house. theres a trail leading to my room from every room in the house. i took my hair out a few minutes ago, and its a giant POOF. the lady teased my hair to get it to fluff a little, and i didnt realize how much volume my hair could hold until tonight..amazing really. i took out the zillion bobby pins(there were so many they would set off metal detectors in airports) and watched my hair foof.
stephanie lay and evan pratt got queen and king of prom. it was amazing.and really cute.
i got kind of a bummer though. there were like, a zillion slow dances, and i didnt get asked to dance once. i tried slow dancing with a chick, just for fun, but it felt awkward. it just wasnt right without andrea there.
the highlight of my night was the chocolate fountain fondue table. i was first in line! w00t! the other highlight was that i was greeted with a head nod and a "hey" from Brad N. i also got to have a small conversation with him (small meaning about 5 sentences)before he left. doesnt sound like much, but when you think you're invisible to a person, and they greet you and talk to you like that, it makes you feel special. not to mention hes been a crush since kindergarden....i think he will always be a fantasy for me, but im ok with that! they say not to ruin fantasies by living them out, and im gonna heed that advice. besides, im with someone i love anyway. it all evens out in the end.
