I've never been a very good liar, so I can't say I have very good advice. I guess the best I can say is that you try to find at least a bit of good in the holiday. If you've got something worth making you happy it can make all the other stuff seem less troublesome.

There are a few different holidays that can be celebrated where I'm from. It all depends on what a person's beliefs are.

I see...well a few of the other kingdoms, more used to the ways of the New Religion have Christmas, but we're used to call it Yule, so...

Which one of those to you celebrate?

I celebrate Christmas. I'm not always a big church goer, but I always find myself finding a service to go to on Christmas.
