One thing I've noticed about Earth over the years is that they start advertising their holidays far to early. As soon as Halloween was over, everything started to be all about Christmas, even though it was nearly two months away. Is this true of most worlds, or just Earth?
I usually don't pay much attention to Christmas, but I suppose I'll have to this year, at the Vatican. I'm going to take time off so I can spend Hanukkah with Lisa, but I'll probably spend Christmas day with Lilith.
One strange thing I've noticed is that no other worlds I've heard of have winter solstice festivals the way we did on mine. Most of you have winter solstices. Why don't you celebrate them?
