[The video shows a long, traditional Japanese room, with one wall open to the air, the cliffs next to the building, and the sea below. There are two figures sitting in the room. One community members might recognize- Masamori, dressed in his black work clothes and wearing a black scarf decorated with large red dots. He sits cross-legged, with his hands resting on his knees. Across from Masamori is
a figure that seems a little too large to be human, kneeling on a cushion, his head obscured by a gigantic hood. The hooded man rests his left arm on an arm rest, while his huge right hand holds an equally large folded fan.
The feed appears to have caught Masamori in the midst of speaking.]
- heard that your family has used illicit means to prevent the Inspection Branch from entering. [He tilts his head slightly to the left.] Could it be that right now you're conducting a certain kind of experiment? Or is it that the ones interested in hunting sacred sites is really your family?
[There's a pause in the conversation, during which the larger figure's grip on his fan tightens. After a moment, he speaks.] Hn, what are you trying to say? [His voice is deep and rumbling, with strange harsh edges.]
[Masamori's face softens ever so slightly, a bit of- hope? pleading? something like that- showing through, but his voice remains impassive.] I'm here to make a deal, Ogi-san. Stop causing meaningless fights.
Heh, what fights? I don't understand.
[Masamori cuts in, authoritatively.] I've had enough already, Ogi-san. [He lifts his hands from their resting place on his legs, crossing his arms.] You conspired with the ayakashi group Kokuborou, selling Night Troop intelligence to them for their convenience. When Karasumori was under investigation, you purposely left out crucial details regarding those mysterious black boxes, almost causing a great tragedy. According to the Shadow Oragnization's standards, all of those are serious crimes. The death of the forest lord just the other day was your doing as well, wasn't it? Apart from that, you also framed my family for the hunting of the sacred sites, going so far as to stir up trouble with them...but I don't plan to investigate beyond that. [As he has made this speech, a faint smile has come to accompany Masamori's poker face. But the smile slips back off now, leaving an almost pained expression that lasts just a moment before being replaced by an odd flatness. He leans a bit to the side again.] Do you know how many of my subordinates your meaningless hatred has killed?
[His eyes narrow, and there's an undercurrent of tightly controlled rage to his voice.] If you're human, stop this.
[And then, Masamori almost seems to relax. His posture and expression become casual- he could be discussing the scenery.] Oh- one more thing. Your experiment has already failed. [He smiles, a cold slash of white across his face.] Do you want me to deal with the complications? You can think of it as a complimentary gift-
[Ogi, who had been gripping the fan ever more tightly, suddenly lashes out with it in a broad sweep, and- well it's hard to tell what happens, the feed is reduced to static for a few moments. When the image clears again, Masamori and Ogi are standing on the shattered remains of the part of the building they were in. Ogi is surrounded by swirls of small debris- splinters and dust fragments that continue to circle around him. Masamori, for his part, is surrounded by a spherical aura the color of a bruise, which appears to have made a dent in the ground he's standing on.]
Kid, don't think you'll make it out of here alive.
((OOC: Regular text is Masamori, red is Ogi Ichirou. Masamori will be making it out of there alive, but he won't be replying icly until over 6 hours after this post. Replies will be text.))
