...It's a hard thing to do. We don't want to teach them to lie too.

It really is.

I try to make sure he knows lying is bad. Maybe this will help a little. Somehow.

What did they lie about?

Oh the usual.

I think they were wrong in telling that lie. A kid shouldn't have to worry about leaving his parents.

It was a little white one and it ended up...well not for the best but some good came of it.

Do you really think it's something a child should worry about?

Usually they don't find out until they're teenagers so it's not that much of a problem then.

They just rebel for a few years and get over it.

A kid shouldn't be told he'll be taken away. How are they suppose to feel safe if they don't feel safe in their own home?

[That's why Cosmo and Wanda were assigned to him.]

A lot of parents tend to use it. It's not right or fair but it seems to work at some level. For a little while.

I wish there was an easier way to deal with this; besides just wishing for his parents to tell the truth.

I think THEY need to talk with him. It's kind that you're trying to help but how can he trust them if they're not the ones handling it?

[Because she's as much Timmy's mom as Mrs. Turner is but...she can't tell Roze that.]

Mostly it's because he asked us why. And I can't tell his parents to fix it either.

You're his godmother, aren't you? They must trust you very much.

It...doesn't really work that way here? I mean I wasn't picked by his parents.
