[Today the feed opens up with rather ominous looking thick smoke and the sound of someone coughing. Eventually, someone waves away the smoke....someone who previous viewers ought to recognize as the man who humors his mirror on occasion. Once the smoke clears a bit more, the camera should provide an easy view of an especially primitive chemistry ensemble. Something greenish is bubbling in a glass pitcher on the far end of the table he's standing in front of, but the dark smoke is clearly coming from the charred remains of something clay and close enough to be mostly off screen.]
Clearly...not quite the same after all.
[He coughs and glances surreptitiously over his shoulder at the empty hallway behind him, before grabbing a chunk of cheese from a far off plate and tossing it into the bubbling mixture.]
Right. There's growth covered...[He mutters something indistinguishable, before the mirror finally catches his attention. He does a double-take, and then sighs.]
Ah. Well, at least I've established she'll enjoy her experience with the poultice, then. [He gives a charming smile.] While you're there, any substitutes for she-ass milk? Mules, as it turns out, aren't close as you'd think.
