Princess Azula! I, Sir Kefka Palazzo, challenge you to a duel in front of Drama Drama Duck! Until one of us is no longer able to fight, but not until the death because people would protest! If you don't answer this, you are a coward and a loser and everyone will be able to vouch for it ( Read more... )

She started it! If she's going to go around insulting her betters, she needs to learn a lesson from someone who isn't going to kill her!

[Long thoughtful pause.]

Do you promise not to kill her?

I already said that, didn't I? No killing. But I shall promise: I won't kill her or anyone on that world in the context of this time around and during the duel. Any harm I cause will be healed before I go. This is not a mission of destruction. If I break this vow, may the Phantom Train run me over.

Or you stop being an idiot and I continue on with my work.

No, no, no. You have to learn what happens when you insult someone and don't check if it's a good idea beforehand.

Oh yes. What other alternative could there be?

She insults someone who isn't a nice god like me and they fry her like a hot dog.

What? Someone's got to teach her not to pick fights without doing the research.

I've got a bad feeling about this.

Probably because, you know, you're implying you won't kill her just because people wouldn't like that.

....yeah, well, I figured "I would like her older and wiser self back and killing this one isn't going to help" would be persuasive enough.

Amusing, isn't she?

Yes, but with a nice helping of annoyance. Play with fire, she's got to get burned, right?

I can understand that.
Although I was never one to light a fire - I prefer to be the breeze that drives it along a path of destruction.

Eh, that manipulation stuff isn't my thing. Too easy for it to go wrong. Since I don't have infinite knowledge, I can't predict people so easily; mostly basic intimidation and fake-out psychology here, for dealing with minions.

Besides, having a reputation for being blunt and truthful makes it easier for me to do grand-scale tricks later on.

So, tell me what you think of this younger self. Other than "bring the popcorn." Indulge me.
