[The video opens out onto the Great Hall in Hogwarts castle. The four houses tables along with the teachers’ table are clearly visible

[Black is always seen as such a bad sign. That seems especially true when every one else in the room falls silent at the sight of it.

Ferb is honestly quiet for several moments before he narrows his brow and shuts off the feed.]

[Action!!!]

[A few moments later a portal opens up and Ferb steps through. He glances around for a second to realize he's out by a lake and there is an enormous castle behind him. The portal closes and he blinks before searching around for a ruffled head of hair.

He finally spots him and walks towards James. He doesn't hesitate and puts a hand on James shoulder.]

[Action!!!]

[James turns, surprised to see Ferb, but doesn't say anything. He's too busy looking back down at the black envelope in his hands.]

[He sits down next to James, looking up at James for a moment before glancing at the envelope in his brother's hand.]

[James looked between his brother and the letter as if asking if he should open it or not.]

[Ferb stared at it for a moment before nodding. Not opening would just make it worse. At least...at least James would have a definite answer.

The human imagination can make things worse then they are.]

[He nodded and started to open the letter and pull out the parchment inside. It told him that both his parents had died of dragon pox. He closed his eyes to keep from crying.]

[Ferb blinked, he didn't know what Dragon Pox was but he did know what a 'not going to cry' look was.

He wasn't a boy to openly show affection often. Usually only when it was needed...and now was one of those times. He leaned a little over and gave James a hug. It wasn't much but hey...at least it was proof that James wasn't completely alone.]

[James moved to hug Ferb back. It was very appreciated that he would do that, and it helped.]

[He blinked again but couldn't pull back. Have a nice brother pat on the back.

Also...Ferb wouldn't lie. So there is no false words of 'it'll be okay' because it won't be for a bit. When the okay part gets closer, then Ferb'll say it.]

[James is the first to pull back. He knows how his brother is and wants to make him as comfortable as possible, even when he's the one who needs the comfort. He gives him a thank you look then stuffs the letter in his robes.]

[Ferb'll let go, but he stays relatively close. He stares at where the letter was shoved for a moment before looking out at the lake. Have companionable silence.]

[It's the best kind of silence. Especially from someone you consider to be your brother. This kind of meant it was Ferb's parents too. He had met them after all. He was glad Ferb had.]

[The two had seemed like very nice people; Ferb had liked them right away. Charles was an amusing man.

He lets his brows lower a bit before just resting his arm on James'. Don't worry about much besides you right now.]

[James wanted to smile but he just couldn't manage it. So he lay down in the grass, not caring that his feet were getting wet.]

[No need for smiles but...Ferb stares at the now wet shoes of James. He'll stay sitting up because, well, he doesn't know any drying spells and his mum won't be too happy with mud in the kitchen.]
