[James watches the events unfold, not aware his own book is also recording him. He finds himself smiling at the image of Lily and the warmth he feels. He remembers the first time he felt that and knows he wasn't much younger either. But he doesn't say anything. This may be Snape but somehow it seemed wrong to interrupt and taunt. So he just watched and waited, still not realising he could be watched in return.]

[As Severus is already becoming aware that his daydream had just been broadcast to the ENTIRE network, he is frantically looking through the viewers and sees one that causes his heart to crash into his stomach. Still, he isn't above making a remark.]

What? No snide comments, Potter?

[James' face turned colder when he realised Snape could see him.]

Do you want one?

Not particularly.

[An unusual answer coming from him but he held any and all of his happy memories of Lily dear - whether they were real or imagined. He really didn't want to have them mocked.]

[James nodded. There was something about Lily that made him feel almost sorry for Snape. He doubted he could have found one even if had wanted one.]

Yes. It was real - for me, any ways. I don't know if the Lily here has the same background as I do.
