[After his extremely unpleasant conversation with James Potter, Severus tries to sleep but every time he started drifting off to sleep James's voice echoed in his head -

His eyes open as he finally gives up on sleep and decides to stare at the ceiling. The house suddenly seems so empty. Certainly he had felt lonely before but it hasn't been this oppressive in a long time. A flash of long red hair flits through his mind and with a grunt he sits up and swings his feet to the floor.
Snatching up his clothes as he went he descends the staircase once again, pulling on his garments as he goes since knowing that damn book it was going to open and on already. He doubts the world wants to see him in his PJs.
Coat unbuttoned but otherwise dressed he enters the front room again. Who does he want to talk to, though? NOT JAMES. Roze? No. Maybe some other time. She seems well-meaning but he wants someone who is distracting - someone to distract him FROM himself.
