[Good afternoon, ducks. The first part of this message is comprised of an image, a simple blue background covered in a barely-legible scrawl, along with a few small scribbled drawings for emphasis here and there. The whole thing is covered in equation after equation, and - if you've a background in that sort of thing - appears to deal with the theory of transdimensional travel. It also appears to be based somewhat on the theory of transwarp beaming, as anyone who knows their warp engines will know that said engines do just that - warp time and space, thereby facilitating faster-than-light travel.]
Anyone who's got a "world-hopping" device or otherwise possesses the ability to move from one dimension, universe, or world to another - a question. How do you know you'll end up where you want to end up? Even in the process of transwarp beaming, there's a four-meter margin of error, because you haven't always got a landing pad to aim for and either way, when you get right down to it, the coordinates are theoretical anyway.
I'm beginning to think that inadvertently beaming something into a layer of rock is all too likely, considering I haven't even begun to figure out how to account for multidimensional coordinates.
[[ooc: And it begins! Scotty is working on making adjustments to the transporters to facilitate world-hopping.]]
