[The video begins on a street in the pouring rain. It focuses in or Ariadane who is waiting on the sidewalk. A car pulls up, driven by Cobb. She gets inside and they begin to drive, following a taxi being driven by Arthur. Suddenly, a
train appears on the street and a shoot out begins.
The video then cuts to Ariadne and Cobb standing with a man who has been shot. Of in another room, shouting can be heard, though it is not clear who is shouting or what they are shouting about.
The camera fades once again and returns to show a
a shoot out in the middle of the street before it fizzles out.
When it comes back again,
it seems that Arthur is in trouble and SHIT IS GOING DOWN. However when that's all taken care of, it jars to completely different place with Eames. Currently, Eames is in a white ski suit in the snow, running out of a large hospital/fortress on top of a mountain. Another man is attacking him, punching him in the face; Eames quickly gains the upper hand, returning some of the blows, until the other man throws him over a railing and to the ground. When the other man follows him down, Eames pulls out a large rifle and shoots him twice in the chest.
Eames runs around the side of the building, sliding in the snow; a man on a terrace above him shoots at him, but Eames hits him easily with his own shots. As he moves, he places a charge on one side of the building, which flashes a red light.
As he moves, he places more charges around the building; some detonate, creating a fireball that Eames leaps away from. Every now and then, another adversary appears, but Eames shoots them all until the building is surrounded by explosive charges.
When he sneaks back into the building, there are two bodies on the floor...whether they're awake or unconscious is unclear. And then suddenly the swell of music begins:
"Non, rien de rien....non, je ne regrette rien..."
As Eames runs the defib on the body that does belong to Fischer, he manages to get Fischer up and breathing again. Without a pause
we come to the climax of what seems to be a mission. As Eames watches on, Cobb is left to deal with one last horror: limbo.
With the dream at its deepest, the images are at their weakest. What can be seen is out of focus, hard to decipher, and almost impossible to understand. What comes through most strongly are the feelings.
There is a house. Inside there is a woman and a man speaking at a table. Guilt, sadness, and anger are so intense here it's almost tangible, even through the many layers of the dream.
What the two people are saying cannot be understood, but the sheer importance of it is obvious. This conversation is vital.
There is someone else, and she is insistent upon something, but in the end she leaves, jumping into a storm that engulfs her and the entire building. All that is left is emptiness, a feeling that something, somewhere, has been resolved, redeemed, and repaired.
Finally, there is a beach. A long expanse of sand beneath the towering shadow of a palace. A man... it seems to be the same man from the building just moments ago... he is washed up on the sands, wasted by the tides and elements.
Guards bring him up to the palace, where he is brought before an old man. They regard each other sullenly, suspiciously, until finally there is recognition.
Two old friends bring each other out of the darkness and back into the day.]
[ooc; spoilers for Inception idk if anyone hasn't seen the movie yet. I do encourage you to view the youtube videos because sometimes Cillian Murphy's face is more expressive than writing. Videos are (due to nonembedding) the shoot out in the street, the zero gravity fight and Fischer and his Daddy.
Obviously, no replies from Fischer.]
