[end of time spam 3 - accidental video.]

[You see the Doctor, lying bruised, cut, and generally looking a bit maltreated on the floor in an empty room of a very posh, expensive looking mansion. There’s broken glass all around him, and it’s clear there’s been a few cowboys in here. But oddly, the Doctor is smiling giddily. He’s breathless, like he’s just heard some amazingly joyful news.]

[Feldt is just silent as she watches, eyes wide when Wilf knocks. It's not until the feed ends that a soft sob can be heard before it ends with an abrupt click.]

[After hearing this, the second Lockon has something approaching composure back, he's over to Feldt's room and knocking gently on the door. She needs someone right now, and it's easier for him to be strong for someone else.]

[She's sitting quietly in her chair at this point. Her eyes are dry, having been hammering it in over the past year and a few odd months that she's cried enough... but to lose someone else is wearing down on her internal wall very quickly.] Come in.

[When he comes in, the lights are half on, but she can be seen clinging to Haro.]

[He doesn't say anything. There's nothing he really can say, is there? For either of them. All he does is walk over to her chair, and gently put a hand on her shoulder.]

[She stays quiet and closes her eyes, forcing back that feeling that sweeps through you right before you start crying. Her arms tighten around Haro as she leans back, taking comfort in Lockon's presence. She can now acknowledge she's not alone in how she feels regarding the loss of the Doctor. He had touched her life and so many others through the community. But out of everyone she had met, the Doctor had felt like the one they could never lose. The indestructible man who could face death and laugh at it before running off to another corner of the universe to do it all over again. Maybe that was why her will finally betrayed her into letting a few tears stream silently down her face.]

[His hand squeezes slightly on her shoulder. Meaningless comforting words ring hollow in his mind, along with how useless they'd all been to him all those years ago. "It'll be okay" and its ilk felt false right now, and would have sounded falser spoken aloud through the lump in his own throat. He closed his eyes for a moment, then did the only thing he could - knelt down on one knee next to the chair, and put his arm around her shoulders. He would let her decide if that was too much right now.]

[Almost as soon as his arm was around her shoulders, she leaned against him. She didn't even bother to stop crying, but she did her best to repress and noisy sobs or shaking. She had sworn not to cry anymore, but the Doctor... he was an exception.]
