It is a forum. People use it to communicate.

To talk to people on other worlds, right? That's what some other people said the game's about. What's the point? Do you get a prize for playing or is there a way to win?

There is no way to actually win, as far as I can tell. But it is rewarding to make friends.

I guess. It might depend on the friends. With some of them, I could think of plenty of better rewards you could get.

I suppose so. But the internet is just like the real world in that way. Not all people are friendly by nature.
