Can someone tell me what this site is for, please? I wanted to figure it out for myself, but the stuff some people were saying was kind of...weird and not really clear.
It's a bit strange, but this community can do odd things. When I know you, you're in your twenties, and a lawyer. But obviously I'm contacting you in the past at the moment.
...Prove it how? Introduce me to someone pretending to be me? I'm a kid but I'm not that gullible. I know the stuff you're talking about can't be true.
...Okay. Well, magic isn't real either. It's like...science that people don't understand yet. It may seem like it's really magic, but there's always a trick to it that people just aren't seeing. Even if you could do what you're saying, it might not be proof.
Maybe not. I've seen lots of magicians do things that seem impossible but aren't. There was a show about one on TV last week, he made the entire Eiffel Tower look like it disappeared!
He didn't just do it on the video! The people in Paris couldn't see it either! But see, it may look real but all be fake, because stuff like that isn't real. You can...open an interdimensional portal if you want, but that doesn't mean I have to believe you. I need decisive evidence for that.
[HOSHI-- little Miles, dressed in a natty little suit and looking very much like a miniature version of himself, hops up from the office chair with a cry. he nearly sprains an ankle on his hurried, (and rather undignified) landing.]
[quickly he tries to recover, standing up straight, but he's breathless when he asks] How did you-- Who are you really? What's going on?
