An Invitation [Video Post]
[The video shows the interior of a familiar, pristine palace. Again, the Shadow of Zechs is there - not wearing his jacket this time. The mesh shirt and belted pants look painted on, especially with the expression he's giving the camera. Kneeling by him are some Elegant Mothers, not currently seated on their thrones, stroking his legs. Behind him, touching his shoulders, are a set of Royal Dancers on either side. The Shadow appears to be enjoying their attentions, but then he stands, walking towards the camera, pulling back his hair. His fingertips glitter.]
[He's frowning now]
I have seen what you have done to my dearest friends, community. They were so happy, so free when they could actually accept who they are and what they really wanted to be. And now, what have you done to them? You fight, you bring such violence into their lives. Fighting never solved anything at all - and by trying to defeat those Shadows, you're only bringing the conflict back inside of their minds.
Lay down your arms. Accept what you really are. And, no matter what you do, do not come for me.
I am finally happy here.
And I will never forgive you if your murder me again - as that foolish, insecure man attempted to murder me, so long ago.
[The camera fuzzes out in static, and then it changes again. Now it's showing the interior of the castle, but ruined. The other version of Zechs' Shadow is here. He's still fully clothed, but he's drawn his whip, looking cold and furious. There are three Killer Drives standing menacingly behind him.
His eyes narrow, his face a stern line.]
I am not a coward.
If you so chose to die, then face me.
You shall all fail.
