[A mere few seconds later, the picture flickers on and focuses on a figure shrouded in black and purple. He's sitting on the counter of a carnival booth, his head bowed just enough so that the brim of his dark top-hat covers his expression. There is no noise, other that the constant and somewhat soothing flickering of the deck of cards he's shuffling. Behind him, situated in the booth, is a wheel of chance. It's split into two colors: red, and blue, and the blue is by far the larger section.
Suddenly, the figure glances up and grins at the camera. A smile of pure white.
His eyes are golden yellow.]
Step right up to play! Unlimited spins per person! Land on the blue, and you win one of our fabulous prizes!
[He lifts a gloved hand and gestures behind him toward the wall of the booth, which is adorned with an assortment jewels, expensive artifacts, gold coins, stuffed animals and firecrackers]
Land on the red... [he stretches his arm over the circumference of the wheel and leans on it casually, still flicking cards into the air with his free hand. They all disappear in a puff of smoke. The next time he speaks, his voice is low and sinister]
And you lose.
[He pulls away and grabs the wheel, giving it one good spin]
But with odds like this, how ever could you lose?
[he laughs and goes back to shuffling his cards, and the video feed ends with the wheel still spinning]
((IF YOU PARTICIPATE basically your character will be asked to put something up for a wager before they spin :> It can be anything, but he'll be looking for important/valuable/sentimental items. No one's gonna win the wheel spin despite the odds because... he cheats (unless he has to purposely lose to draw someone in and make them too confident or something), so if you don't mind having your character losing something, comment?
