[The video starts blurry and unfocussed in a dark place, someone we can't see is holding the camera and walking. The camera moves 180º and Spain's face comes to the view. He adjust the focus and it become clear that he's on the top of a mountain. ]
Today is the night of the
Lágrimas de San Lorenzo, a metheor shower also known as the
Perseid. In my place, we go outside after midnight, to a place as far away as possible from city lights to get the best views. We wait and watch, telling ghost stories and whispering wishes.
[Spain lies down on the grass and moves the camera up to the sky, the North, about halfway between the constellation Perseus 3 - which is very, very low on the horizon to the northeast - and the point directly overhead.]
This area will be the most likely place to see the meteors. When you see a shooting star, make a wish, the tradition says that wishes made when seeing such a star come true.
[There's a long silence, some falling stars are already visible. When Spain speaks again his voice lowers and he's blushing slightly even if that's not visible because he's off screen.]
Belgium and I used to do it under the starry sky all the nights. She was never too tired for it. I wonder if she thinks about that when she sun sets in her place too.
