Kuronue: Video
[The video starts up when the book is tossed carelessly aside, skidding and spinning before the lens focuses. A familiar face, somewhat absent from the network for the last week or two.
Kuronue's hair is tangled in its usual top-knot but much longer, spilling every which-way like a mane of tangles. His pendant glows around his neck, but his clothing's changed. He's dressed in tattered robes, ripped in places and smudged with blood - clearly not his own. He's ripped them from the body of the old king, and beneath is his usual leather, peeking through tears in the gauzy fabric.
He twirls a silvery crown around one finger, sending it spinning back and forth between his hands. Something jangles and clicks at his wrist, a macabre bracelet made out of horns. The source of the blood is suddenly clear... a few of those horns still have gore-red smeared at the root. Anyone familiar with Yomi will recognize them as the goat demon's 'brain antennae.']
What now what now. Eh, goat-ey...? Long live the king, long may he reign~
what now, hm.... [His head drops back loosely and he tosses the crown up in the air, then catches it again and laughs, a delerious sound, manic.]
What is there left when you reach the top d'you think, keep climbin'? Can I pierce heaven or descend my Makai into hell? Decisions decisions.
(ooc: sooo... I'm sorry I've been awol but I'm back now? ;w;b s-sob... In this 'what if' Kurama died instead of Kuronue on that fateful night. Kuronue went a little crazy and somehow ended up king of the Makai. The tournaments never happened. Kuronue just slaughtered his way to the top over a thousand years or so, the good old fashioned way. )
