[There's a short burst of static, and then Rebecca's voice comes on. It's distorted, as if there's poor reception or lots of interference, but still audible. She sounds tired but determined.]
This is Rebecca Chambers. To any survivors in the D.C. area, I can provide food, shelter and medical assistance. Respond to this broadcast and I'll reply on a secure channel with directions to my coordinates. If anybody's out there, please respond.
[She pauses, taking a deep breath. When she speaks again, her voice has the tone of someone who's reciting something they've practiced before.]
Demonstrate extreme caution when approaching the infected. Firearms work if you have to defend yourself, but you need to target the glowing weak spots on their limbs. Shooting them anywhere else won't work, and you'll just waste ammunition. Fire is better. Incendiary grenades are best if you can find them, but Molotov cocktails work too. Stay out of reach of their limbs and never try to take on more than one at once. Dispose of any dead bodies immediately, preferably by burning. If you don't, Uroboros will just absorb them. It's better this way, trust me.
And please...whatever you do, be careful.
[End broadcast.]
