[There are two notable differences in regards to Darc. The first is his armour. He is no longer wearing a beaten chestplate, but the polished yet functional armour of a true warrior king. While his left, more Deimos side had very little covering it, his right side is entirely covered. His right hand is wearing a black glove, though armour from his wrist stretches over it in the form of claws, as if to hide it.]
[The second notable difference is his expression. Though he rarely showed more positive emotions before, he now appears completely devoid of them. His face seems set in a permanent scowl, and his voice is even harder than before.]
One of the scouts from the Orcon party occupying Cathena returned to me today with a strange report. She claims that the city grew dark in the middle of the day, then suddenly disappeared into shadows. There’s been no contact with her party since then - she claims to be the only “survivor”, but I’m still skeptical. She’ll be accompanying another party to investigate.
Otherwise, things are running well. Some Lakelta were able to wipe out another band of humans. The fools thought they could hide! [Deep, dark chuckle] That’s a few less humans polluting my world.
Hmph. That’s it for now.

((OOC: Darc’s “What if?” scenario is “What if Darc had killed Kharg instead of sparing him?” Well, that’s the short version. Basically, what’s happening/happened is that Darc and his Deimos took over the world after killing Kharg and his human party. Humans are being eliminated. However, because that’s exactly the kind of negativity that the Spirit of Darkness/Lord of the Black Abyss needs to escape, he is now doing so. (For plot purposes, it’s taken him this long to begin escaping.) It’s because of his dark powers leaking out of the arc that places are being consumed in darkness, starting with Cathena. Also, he will remember people he’s met on the community, but he will be treating humans differently now (i.e. coldly). Enjoy a Darc who is an even bigger jerk than usual!))
