It appears so. His apartment is unoccupied, with his personal effects and belongings left intact, and as far as we know, no one's been able to contact him for several weeks.

He doesn't seem like the sort of person to go off and take a sudden vacation either. Are the police looking into it?

They are. I'm supervising investigations of his apartment and office. So far they've been less than fruitful, but we've just begun.
