[Rain is pouring down, the sky shifting with clouds and shadows. Sounds of someone digging is heard, the shovel stabbing into soaked earth.
The one doing the digging is not extraordinary, though the hole is already up to his shoulders. He doesn't look more than ten years old, and darkness mutes his appearance until all that can be seen is his shape, weakly illuminated by the occasional flash of lightning: thin, almost bony, with tangled hair that might be russet, might be black.
The boy pauses, reaching up to wipe the rain out of his eyes, leaning on the shovel. His breathing is ragged from exertion, but otherwise almost too calm. He raises his head and glances behind him, into the rain. For a few moments he stays like that, just watching. Then he hefts the shovel up and returns to digging.
Or not, because as soon as the shovel hits the ground, there's a clink-metal striking metal. A rattling, as of chains.
The boy seems to tense at the sound. At the same moment, a voice pierces the unending murmur of the rain. Something glows bright in the distance.]
Man: [sternly] Lea! Where are you?
[The glow envelops the scene until nothing can be seen. Two voices are heard speaking, one of which is clearly Axel's. Certain people may also be able to recognize the second voice as Saïx's.]
Axel: So is that it? It looks like they were a little more creative with yours.
Saïx: Is there something you find unsatisfactory, number VIII?
Axel: [pause] No. Nothing at all.
[the light fades, leaving only blackness in its place.]
Axel: [sarcastically, as if mockingly repeating someone's words] It's just a name, right?
[the video ends.]
