Oh, I'm by no means famous among the police force, I'm not even officially a member of the department. If we are in the same universe, though, there is a good chance you would know of my father - Yagami Soichiro. Otherwise, I would have to concur that we are indeed from separate universes, in which case I have several questions.

It's true. Fuu and I had been to another world even before finding this place. Cephiro was totally different from this, though...

[ooc: Just letting you know that Minato's aware of Death Note as a manga as per his conversations with Mello. He's deliberately keeping himself ignorant of it, though, so unless he learns that Light's from the same world as Matt and Mello, he won't even be able to put that much together. So he's aware that Kira exists, and that he's in a manga somewhere, but he'd never put together that Light is Kira. I mean, I sincerely doubt it. lol Do you mind if in the future he talks to Light about what he does know from Mello, though?]

Fuu is another member of the community, I presume? How is it that you traveled between your world and Cephiro? Can you describe the societal structure of your world and of Cephiro for me?

I'll start with the easy ones first! Fuu's another member, but she's been on here a lot longer than I have. I only joined today. We were taken to Cephiro with Hikaru from Tokyo Tower in order to save the country... Ah, it's kind of a long story.

If you're attending college in Tokyo, our worlds are probably pretty similar. I've never heard of a To-Oh, but I do live in Tokyo...

Cephiro doesn't really have a government, per se; everything there runs on strength of heart. The person with the strongest heart is the Pillar, and her prayers safeguard the country and keep it healthy. I couldn't believe it at first, but people can live for centuries, do magic, all sorts of stuff.

[ooc: No problem! :) And I don't think you have anything to worry about - Minato's very observant and good at reading people, but he's also quite frankly lazy, apathetic, and preoccupied. xD It would not be hard at all for Light to manipulate him.]

Interesting, I joined today as well. I noticed a few posts mentioning that newcomers have the tendency to come in droves, but to actually be a part of the phenomena is interesting.

I spoke with another individual, Kurosaki Ichigo, who lived in a city that does not exist on my world, so it's not unusual to consider that my university wouldn't exist on yours.

...That's incredible - and quite a lot to take in, if I may say so. Strength of heart alone. But, what about crime and immorality? How are such things handled there?

Hi, Light, I'm Kurosaki Ichigo, and I live in Karakura Town. It's actually not that far from Tokyo...or, well, the Tokyo in my world, that is.

Lots of police around here, from all kinds of worlds, too.

A town called Karakura? I've never heard of it... I'd like to think myself proficient in my region's geography, so I would believe it safe to say that your city... doesn't exist in my world.

Are there? I'd be interested in hearing how laws vary between each universe's society as well.

I understand that it may be tricky, but I'm rather incorrigible in these situations and find that the more I learn, the more I want to know. Would you mind answering a few questions of mine regarding your world?

I'm most interested in the societal structure and the presence of any supernatural or otherwise superhuman beings or abilities within your world, and how society reacted to those abilities. You see, we don't have anything like that on my world, so hearing about them is very interesting.
