You should start stocking up on diapers now because they blow through those faster than long lost relatives introduce themselves to someone who won the lottery.
Every baby should have their own special blanket. You need to go find one that's soft and make sure there's no pins or anything left in it.
Keep formula around because if she has to go somewhere for some reason the baby is still going to need to eat.
Most babies can't sit up until they're several months old, so you should look into buying chairs or playsets where the toys are hung over the baby. Don't be too surprised if they can't hit the toys for awhile. I'm sure babies can get frustrated, too, so having a variety of different places they can lie down is good.
Don't expect to sleep. They'll need fed and changed several times during the night and might not feel sleepy.
They can't support their head when they're born so make sure to have a good grip, especially since they'll wriggle around or throw their head back sometimes. And sometimes you have to let them cry. If they're fed and changed and burped and they keep crying because you don't hold them, sometimes they have to deal with it. You can't hold and carry them 24/7 just to make them happy. They aren't hurt so suffering so it's ok.
Basically you have to hang in there until they're big enough to start doing things. Matthias is almost 2 and he spends a lot of time playing with his toys.

Not all toys will be super soft because they're feeling things for the first time, so a lot of infant toys will have different textures, too.
