Floating

Apr 22, 2009 22:47

The human's spaceship I am on has just left Mars.  I felt so heavy at first then I felt as if floating inside my bed.  If any of you have been in space before I must ask does the gravity keep shifting like this?  I feel as if I am going to throw up.

I hear that it's normal in space, yes. Even though I haven't been there myself. Gravity will only shift again once you get to Earth, I think.

thank you for your thoughts. Everything seems to have settled down now. But I didn't like that experience at all. Now I'm looking even less forward to getting to Earth.

You're welcome. Even though I hope you will like Earth once you get there.

The humans on the ship keeping telling me it is very nice. But it looks very colourful and hardly red enough. What is your Earth like?

Oh, my world isn't called earth... it's a world parallel to earth, but I've never been there myself.
Well, there are red and stony places on earth too. But I suppose it would seem very colourful compared to Mars... you don't like that?

What is your world called then if not Earth, Are you from a parallel Mars? I wonder if anyone on here is from a parallel Mars, that would be interesting.

I do not like or dislike it really. I haven't experienced it so it is just another new thing.

My world is simply referred to as "The World". It isn't on Mars though, I'm afraid.

Ah, that makes sense. You will know if you like it once you've seen it for yourself, I suppose. Though most people enjoy the different colours on earth.

You don't need to be afraid of Mars or that your world isn't Mars. What is "The World" like?

Most people are used to it maybe

Oh that's... just a figure of speech. The World is pretty colourful too. Different kinds of landscapes... do you know what an ocean is, or a forest? I don't know much of Mars, but it seems to be mainly red and rocky.

That is true.

sorry I don't know to many of those yet. I'm only just learning the human's language. It is slow going with so many twists, turns and contradictions. I have never seen either of these things that you mentioned.

Mars a wonderful place filled with red sand and endless plains.

I imagine it is very difficult to learn, yes. Is there a martian language?

Oh... If you haven't seen either, then it will be hard for you to imagine what my world is like.

We have a beautiful language, the human throat can put some limits on the words. However my water brothers and nest mates were most understanding about it. In the end I never had any problems getting my concepts across to them. Doctor Muhammad has told me he wants to learn it and thinks he will be able to. Perhaps I could teach you both if you wanted.

Oh, unfortunately I'm not able to even speak a human language... my voice doesn't work very well. Maybe at some point it will become possible to have that fixed, but for the time being I don't think I'll be able to learn it. I would like to.
What's a water brother?

What happened to your voice? Are they working on fixing it or did you give it up for some reason?

It is a lot of different things. I don't really know just how to describe it in your language. I'm sorry.

...My voice never worked very well to begin with. And right now they can't work on fixing it, because there are much more important things to do. But when that is all done, I think they will fix me.

Hmm... maybe when you get more used to our language you will be able to explain it?
