[A plane with stairs leading up to an open door in the side is the first to be seen on the video, the plane and landing pad are all tinted in orange light. The sound of two coats brushing against each other is audible as the viewpoint moves closer and then shifts up as footsteps echo on the stairs. A meter from the door Batou's voice yells out.]
Motoko!
[The view turns around, some strands of purple hair edging the bottom of the video feed as Batou in a dark grey trench coat and hat stands halfway up the stairs, staring up. The only noise that can be heard is the whirring of the propellers on either of the wings in the silence that followed. And then a squelching sound breaks it, some bright red fluid splattering on the plane's fuselage a split second before the video cuts to black, but the audio continues on as shown when something rather large bangs into a solid object before hitting the ground with a thump and Batou yelling out again.]
Motoko, no! Motoko!
[Sets of heavy feet pound up the metal stairs when the audio fades to static briefly and then returns to more footsteps coming closer to the audio source. A calm male voice that isn't Batou's speaks after a moment.]
No vitals detected. Target destruction confirmed.
[More static interjects over silence, sort of like a wave before fading out in time to catch:]
MOTOKOOOOOOOO!
[And then that's cut off by another wave of static, heavier than the first, for a few seconds until...]
[Transmission lost] ...|
((Okay, for those of you who haven't seen Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, it seems that Motoko (or Chroma, as she's known to most of the community) is dead via assassination, but everything's not quite as it seems. Her ghost is going to be wandering the net for a while and she'll end up haunting the community, especially if she knows someone who posts. Never fear, she'll have a body back soon enough. For now, neither she or Batou will be answering so the characters are free to discuss amongst themselves.))
