Alright, let's try this one more time, shall we?

Am I spamming the community yet? Is this spam? It probably is, isn't it. Well, sorry for spamming it again, but I need to call in one more favour.

The good news is, the rescue operation went well. Well, by well I mean that we got everyone we came for out alive and they're safe and on their way.

Me. He can stay with me. My mom's used to people from other worlds showing up--we still have Ty Lee's cot set up in the other room. Hopefully in person it'll be easier to get it into his stupid head that he's got friends and he's not worthless and whatever other complex he has.

Thank you.

Good luck with that. You'd think the fact that I traced what little signal he had left and pulled him out of that robot would have clued him in slightly already.

No problem. Not a problem in the slightest.

I think you said it perfectly--"brilliantly thick". Or, actually, almost perfectly--dangerously think would've been a little a better. Or stupidly thick, if it wasn't, like, redundant.

I didn't think it would be, no.

Dangerously, brilliantly, stupidly thick works well enough for me. Took me at least five solid minutes of extremely quick thinking to even to begin convincing him that dying was a bad idea.

If I could, I'd offer him a room, but it seems there's already someone willing. But he's being stupid if he thinks he has no friends that he can count on.

I'm sure he'll appreciate it anyway, once he's thinking straight again.

That's what I said to him, but it's like talking to a brick wall. An extremely thick brick wall.

Just give him some time, I guess. Let him see how many people cared enough to set aside some time to come and save his sorry ass. Or what about the people he wrote to. Does he consider all of them nothing more than casual acquaintances?

Personally I think it's more a case of that he still doesn't know what to call us yet, but that's beside the point. Time's the best healer, I should know.

Yeah, why wouldn't he?

The letter he posted was...definitively phrased.

He forgot to factor in my stubborness, what can I say. I'm very good at what I do.

I'm just glad everyone is all right now.

It seems like it's settled now, but if you can't convince him to stay with Mikaela, you could bring him to my world. There's still plenty of room here. I didn't get a chance to mention my island before...

Join the club. We ought to have badges, really, shouldn't we?

He'll get there.

I'm glad... I know that there were people worried, and I was rather concerned, myself.

Well. I think we all were.
