[Back from Hiatus; Hello again!] ...my, it has been some time, hasn't it?
Hello, ducklings! I have missed you so in my absence, but fortunately for you and me, I have a genuine excuse-- I have been redecorating, and in the mortal way, no less! The home I purchased upon Gaia at Costa del Sol, as a matter of fact, needed a bit of renovation (no offense meant, Rufus) so I embarked to that delightful mortal warehouse known as IKEA.
Have you heard of it, my friends? It is a delightful place, everything has its own name and you have to build it all yourself! How charming is that? I fashioned myself a credit card and bought everything I needed and, let me tell you, there is nothing more satisfying than a job well done.
Another mortal invention has come into my possession-- a digital camera! It is a wonderful thing, I had not had a camera of my own since they first came into being in, oh... by Olympus, 1685? Has it really been that long? In any case, I found that these things are advanced enough that you can put a timer on them! Isn't that delightful? I gave it a try, and I thought I might share with you the results:
Hyacinthus gifted me those vases, I thought they looked nice, there. I'm rather fond of the green paint, I picked it out myself at that Wal*Mart store. It is not quite as nice as IKEA, but it is much cheaper, and the most interesting people shop there! I should like to go again.
