Dramacon has been nominated for the YALSA "Great Graphic Novels for Teens" Award

Feb 09, 2006 19:05

I am happy to announce that they've included Dramacon as one of the selections as of January 3rd - I tried to nominate it (they had a form to fill in suggestions) before then, but I'm neither a librarian nor a US citizen, so I guess they didn't accept mine - obviously some discerning librarian had the same great taste.

The YALSA is the Young Adult Library Services Association, so if Dramacon wins, it will be included in lots of libraries all around the US, which should garner it a lot of fans that don't normally go for manga. Svetlana has some tough competition, though. Let's hope for the best ^^.
