Hello! I'm.. fairly new to RPG-ing on LJ. So.. I've got a few questions.. if that's okay? - What is "canon"? - How do you interact with other players/characters? That's all for now..
Canon would be sticking to the character's personality and his/her profile. The best example to explain this would be on how you made your character maintain her profile as an art student and a crown princess of Korea. Being canon could also extend up to her relationships as long as other parties concerned are in mutual agreement.
However, character development does happen in role playing, so a change between character relationships could happen. A character may end up with a different person from the one they ended up with on their main series.
As for interaction, logs or threads are made in the main RP community, dramacity_rp, where players take turns in writing the log or the story. It is to be noted that a player can only control his/her own character.
Things might be confusing at first but as soon as you get yourself acquainted with the system by watching other players at first, it would be much easier.
