* I played some bass today. Ever since I was finishing up apps I have been enjoying the pleasure of having a bass guitar around the house. I don't have to worry so much about forming chords and I get to appreciate songs at another level. I attempted to play X-Japan's Endless Rain, Weezer's Across the Sea, and some Etta James, Jay-Z and Young Weezy.
* When I look back on the weekend, I feel like it caught a lot of wind. I got to see Dianna play guitar at Central but missed her solo set which is why I initially went. I also got called up on the stage to play Creep by Radiohead on drums with her band - I am a magician. Darren would have been proud of me.
* Jan and poppy took me out to the movies on Saturday night to watch James Bond. Probably the most personally appealing portrayal of the character to date. After that Christine took me downtown to check out a club, where they had $3.50 rail drinks which were pleasant. I'm looking forward to more warming up with friends, as this weather gets colder.
* And POS released a new video. It's cool. I didn't know that slug was on this track even though I've listened to the album lots.
