It's October now, and things are trundeling along. Livejournal informs me that I have misspelt that word. I argue that you can't misspell something you just created! MWAHAHAHAHA.
Rehearsals are taking a back-seat this week as my various directors and co-writers got busy with other projects and so I find myself at home more often, which is a nice change of pace. I come home, I go for a quick jog so I can feel powerful and fit even if it is only for 25-30 minutes, then I shower, make dinner, play a computer game, do dishes and then do whatever writing work I feel like doing at that moment. It's frankly been wonderful, and while I will be glad to get back to rehearsing for the time being I am also happy enjoying the nothingness.
The apartment continues to be awesome, although I am honestly broke all the time. Keeping my head above the water is my main concern, learning to dress myself more properly is my next. I'm down to owning one pair of decent jeans, one pair of shoes for the office, my incredibly old runners and some slip ons. I feel like a schlub most of the time, but it feels better to be a shlub because I simply can't buy anything rather than the idea that I'm just lazy.
Dan and I filmed the next Whitless letter on Sunday. I'm a little nervous. It was the fastest I've ever done one and I'm worried that the results will be weird due to my rushing, but I can only wait at this point. Still, I'm genuinely enjoying the process and I hope to learn more about the editing aspect.
At the very least, it is fall, my favourite time of year. It's almost Halloween, my favourite holiday, and I've been sucking up scary games, books and movies as fast as anyone can. Can't complain about that.
