I dub thee...

My laptop has returned to me! After two weeks vacation in CT for a tune-up, he's back where he belongs. I never realized how much I would miss the darling. Therefore, in recognition of my newfound love and adoration, I have officially named the bugger.

Meet Morris Grant Cromwell (known secretly as Matilda when he's feeling a bit feminine). All 4 names are names of old British tanks (WWI and WWII) because he's an IBM Thinkpad, a real tank of a computer. He makes me think of this really old british army officer, stuffy and stiff but incredibly loveable, slightly preoccupied with honor and pomp. Also, in the early stages we tossed "Alistair" because that was a white computer name. This guy's a big black tank, so Morris also works because, according to babynames.com, it translates as "dark-skinned." Grant is for Sara, it was her favorite tank name. So there you have it. Morris (Matilda) has been named.

In other news, I've decided I'm going ice skating tomorrow. It's literally been YEARS. I'm psyched. Whoooooo.

Finally, a fun little quiz...
