Conversation I had IMing a friend today. Little fun factoids and snippets for you to enjoy. Put em in your mouf and chew. mmmm.mmmm.
Oh and uh dont mind the spelling and grammar mistakes I like to type to fast on IM
: D

ME: there is a bill thats 460 Billion for military spending for 2008 now THATS rediculous

MR.IU: thats alot of money money we dont have

ME: i know and people wonder about the decay of life and poverty in the US...cause we're spending all of our money on a War NO ONE approves anymore

MR.IU: true...but, from another view, we cant just pull out now because everything will be in chaos over there...it is already but... we need to finish what we started
or else all of these people died for nothing

ME: There comes a point though where all those people didnt die just so more people can die.. because more and more people keep dying... and its a civil war we dont understand nor can control. Something has to be done but I dont know if we can help militarily anymore.

MR.IU: True i agree with that. I think we owe it to the people in iraq though, we promised them we would come in and handle everything. We cant just leave them to fend for themselves, its very un-U.S. like.

ME: yeah... but perhaps it was a false promise perhaps we cant handle their religious differences. We cant even handle our own differences in america how are we supposed to handle a war thats been going since Muhammed was actually alive.
This has been going on forever between them. It was pretty arogant to believe this would be easy and I think that if its going to damage us like depleting our treasury then there's got to be an element of self preservation. NOT every american signed on for the Iraq war. Thats like punishing the kids that were'nt even in the house when the TV was broken.

Mr.IU: Well said.definitely not an easy problem/solution. lots of conflicts of interest too. *OIL*

Me: No and I agree; we kind of destroyed their infastructure with all our bombing
(well and their bombing) It would be awful to be like "well that sucks, you all dont have water through 75% of your country nor any electricity but we kind of have a hot date with N. Korea so Your uh just going to have to figure it out by yourself. Sorry about all that rubble too but you have a swiffer right? you can just swiffer that up and rebuild with ALL the money you have. great, thought so. See you in a couple decades when you finally rebuild and start a world war with us because we left you to die. Peace"

Mr.IU:HAHA

ME: It could be third reich all over again
but with muslim flavor
but America hasnt been a very progressive thinking govt in the past 8 years so I dont imagine they've thought too much about that.

government, conversations, iraq
