I want adventure in the great wide somwhere...
So the show opened tonight! Success... nothing went wrong all the props looked just dandy and beautiful and everyone was where they needed to be. Success! The audience sucked a little but whatev. since Im not onstage in this performance I dont really care if they laugh or not. But I am so tired. And seriously fighting off getting ill and with these things combined make the show seem dreadfully long... dont worry though, I get through by daydreaming about doing naugty things with the lighting technician who not only is hot but has an extremely sexy headset voice *shivers* ooo lala.
I did get a part in the movie I auditioned for. Granted not the main character, but I did feel very strong when I left the audition. I will be playing Sorority girl. I only hope that she's a bitch of a character... because I want to play evil Soroity girl. I'm kind of scared she's the one that gets naked...But its all for the art right? Right! *coughs* We will see, I'll keep you posted.
After spring break I'm planning on auditioning for Beauty and the Beast being performed at thalian hall... oh I really really really want a subsantial part as I havent done a musical in so long! I hope I hope. So I'll be preparing for that after the show raps on sunday.
Oh and I'll hopefully be getting professional headsets done soon as well and Probably be asking for opinions on those as well.
Ah and homework... well lets not think too much about that. Im only glad i knocked my screenplay out already. My poetry professor though on tuesday when I asked her a question about my piece she said, "Take what your peers said with a grain of salt, this needs slight revision but i think its almost done." My poem? My poem almost done? done for what? Publishing? *jaw drop*
Currently reading 42nd parallel for my modernism class havent gotten into it enough to critique it enough. Also reading a poetry book for my poetry class that too has been difficult to get started. I have a spanish test on monday and have to have the poetry book and a paper ready for tuesday. This show can't end soon enough. Except what then will happen with my lighting technician...? perhaps only the cast and crew party will tell...
