RENT national tour auditions
Hey everyone!
I woke up at 6am and went to my first audition today! I waited about 6 and a half hours. I was 226 out of 300 something. They changed the 16-bars to only 8, so I just sang the chorus of "Piece of My Heart" by Janis Joplin. I spent 30 seconds in that room in total, a "Thank you very much!" and I left. I most likely didn't get a call-back, because they were telling people today and giving them music, so I'll be really surprised if they call me.
All in all, it was a great experience and I know what to do and what not to do for next time. I plan on looking up a lot more in the coming weeks, and I want to try and go to a handful every week. I'll let you know!
My drama showcase is this weekend! ahh!
