Oh, summer.
Central Park, in a way, is like Disney World in the summertime. There can be SO many people on one field, you would not believe it! Playing ball, frisbee, walking dogs, throwing parties, scavenger hunts, the list goes on!
Brendan and I won the lottery to see Wicked last Friday. AmAzInG! Front row/Center - nothing beats that right thurrr! Neither of us had seen it before and we aren't really into it - we loved it!! Then two nights ago we saw Spelling Bee with the new cast. It was my 3rd time seeing it, it was pretty good. The lady from IPC was in it as Rona, and Daryll Hammond was so funny as Vice-Principal Panch.
I went to The American Museum of Natural History yesterday with Brendan. I had never been there, and he hadn't gone since he was little. I like the biodiversity and aquatic levels myself. That sperm whale fighting that giant squid, it just got to me...
I have to start searching for an apartment. I can't believe it! I graduate at the end of September! and then I move into my first apartment (with roommates, mind you).
My drama showcase is the weekend of July 19th. I play a spunky lesbian dying of cancer in Last Summer at Bluefish Cove. It has been and is a slow process. There's a wall, and I have an idea of how to jump it, and yet I don't. Hmm.
I have chosen my headshots. Now I just need to get them printed. I'm going to start auditioning soon. It's exciting, but gee willickers am I nervous. But, you've got to start somewhere, right? And...life is too short to be afraid!
