Haha...rat Buffy! I'd forgotten about that.

This was very sweet, starting out cautiously and ending with them together. Just the way we'd like to think they progress.

Good one, dralf!

Thank you, Shrinky!

Poor Buffy, spending time as a rat. Though I'm sure it's better than whatever Angelus had planned for her on the day.

They've had their share of things separating them; I like to think that they'll be together one day. Anyway, this is Valentine's Day and Valentine's Day requires fluff and happiness.

wheeeeeeeeeee! Happy future ending after the angst of the first two paragraphs!!!! *SQUEE*

I loved this. Amazing use of your 100 words, dear. The way you summarized their first Valentine, gorgeous! And that he won't give her roses anymore... *heartbreak*

It's Valentine's Day; they had to have their happy ending. :) They deserve one.

Thank you! The summary of their first Valentine's Day was my favorite part. It was also the part that jump-started the rest of the drabble. After Angelus using roses, I figured Angel wouldn't feel comfortable giving her any ever again.

Loved this drabble. Your use of first, second, and so on, tells a story in itself. A progression of their love, if you will. Super.

And I had forgotten the rat episode.

Very well done.

Thank you! I intended it to showcase their love, using Valentine's Day as the marker for how it changed.

Seems like quite a few people forgot about the rat episode.

Lovely! I like the twist at the end, as it starts off with angsty memories. I didn’t expect that, but it was a nice surprise. Maybe they can be happy after all?

Thank you. It's Valentine's Day, so I wanted a happy ending to close things with. Anyway, they certainly deserve happiness after everything they've been through.
