It's been ages since I posted, hasn't it? Two major reasons for that: 1) I've been busy with college and my new job, which eat up a lot of my time so I haven't had much time to write at all, and 2) what little time I do have has mostly been spent writing Doctor Who fic (specifically Doctor/Rose - if you're interested, I'll give you links to my ao3/

I really liked Angel's matter of fact, no sugar coating tone here. The hard work is just beginning for Buffy but with Angel's support, she'll make it.

Thank you! Angel knows there's no point in acting like things are okay; it's much more helpful to be honest in his support. And I agree, between the two of them, her strength and his support, she'll manage. It won't be easy, but then things rarely are.

This was fantastic! Such a stark, frightening idea. You can really feel how horrified Buffy is when she sees what she's become, and Angel's heartbreak as he tries to be what she needs is clear. And he really is exactly what she needs, which is the one thing keeping the story from full-on despair.

Great piece to add to the marathon. So glad you're still writing B/A!
