Day 57
My host had to be somewhere all day, so we left the house at about 9am and I wandered around the block a bit on my bike before deciding my thighs were way too tired to bike all day. Instead, I took a leisurely stroll to the flea market at Ohi Racecourse, meeting Phil at the train station on the way, and had a simple lunch from the convenience store before he arrived. The market itself was pretty big and obviously full of used goods, but we came across some good stuff - lovely film cameras for 3000 yen, gaming consoles and games (from which I bought a copy of FF7… that I can’t play on my PAL PS2 lol) and some great kitchenware. After we were done there we headed to Aoyama to go suit shopping for him, though we didn’t find much until we hit the Shibuya area. There he ended up getting a 3DS of all things LOL. I myself went to Uniqlo and got some basics but yeah, a productive shopping day for all.
