Thank god no one reads this anymore...
I graduate in May. Oh shit. Then the question becomes: what do i do afterward? I don't get to go back to the family homestead to raise sheep or whatever. Want to hear what the plan(s) are? You're going to probably die when i'm done laying them all out.
1. Grad School.
I'm applying to graduate school as we speak. Five got 5 schools, and 3 more applications to fill out, and then 1 to make sure gets a little more complete....and the GREs. but anyway, forward momentum has been made. If i do, this will be a couple of years to get my MFA in creative writing.
2. RD
In March im going to NASPA and apply to various schools to become an RD. this, like everything else in my life, is really competitive. After these applications are out (im lying, i'll start working on this pretty soon) i'll work on my resume and cover letter, sign up for NASPA and get ready for the 1st weekend of march to go job hunting. lucky me.
3. Corrections
Yes, corrections. Jails. you get the idea. i'm fascinated by the prospect. The tests arent that bad, the pay's pretty damn good. And it would be a possible option for me. Roll your eyes, go ahead i dont blame you. The State of New Hampshire is hiring. The state of basically everywhere is hiring as is the Government. If NASPA shits the bed and April rolls around, i'm probably going to hit the gym, work on some phsyical fitness, get some shooting practice in and go for it.
4. Massage School
Ive wanted to do this for a while, but life just sort of got in the way. If option 3 happens, i'll probably take classes at Hesser to get my certification as a massage therapist. It seems like a viable opportunity. That, and i can add more stuff to my resume of things i would like to do/learn/accomplish
Randomness for you to enjoy. feel free to comment.
