it's probably high past time i put down an actual post in here instead of snippets here and there when im feeling particularly frustrated.

school's busy as usual. but the first days of spring and the aftertaste of summer are finally here. the storm passed over on monday and everything's okay. it's been a long couple of days. im behind in some classes and need to catch back up - story of my life

i got the job at the pakistani institute. if you want to read more about the program to go plymouth.edu and search the pakistani institute. it's good money, nice on a resume, and will give me something to do for the month of july. i'll probably be taking 2 classes over the summer in the meantime. Yee haw.

In other news - mom will be up the 2nd week of May - im excited. Mary is hypothetically sending me a check to fix / inspect / etc my car. i'm hoping that if it all works out, my car can be road worthy by next weekend. I may be diluting myself, but i fucking miss driving and the weather is starting to turn nice. i miss the road, different places...etc. I miss friends i havent seen in a year. A year. and im sick of plymouth. if im going to be here this summer, i need the ability to run away for a bit.

Meg's graduation is June 9th - i'll be heading down for that. which should be interesting. if anyone wanted to come and split driving time, that'd be spiffy. i'm probably going down for four or five days, it's just too much of a bear to do as a turn and burn. it *could* be done in three but...ugh. that would suck a lot.

ive started reading again, now that ive got money to do it. i just need to pick up the pace on writing. im sad that i dont get to accept a space in Clarion if i actually get it. But...i couldnt put the woman off for a week - it just wasnt going to work.

I got accepted into Centripetal, i did the poetry slam. I'm going to be a TA for composition class next semester, and im inching my way through the last of my classes before graduation. it's exciting, and terrifying, to know that in a few months im going to be putting together grad school applications, applying for Res Life jobs, and who knows what else..

im presently reading parts of "The Harlequinn" by Laurell K. Hamilton, comes out in a month and a half - im excited. Harry Potter's coming out as well, as are a few other books im looking forward to reading. i love this time of year because its the big time for books to be published.

anywho - i have duty inlike two hours. my room is disgusting, and im tempted to take a nap. give me a hollar if you're reading this, let me know who you are etc.

- Sean
