I saw Alvin and the Chipmunks yesterday. It was really good! I was afraid that live-action munks wouldn't work, and I wasn't crazy about the casting of Dave based on the previews, but everything worked well after all. My only complaint is that they didn't sing the cartoon theme song like they did in the preview. That's my second all time favorite cartoon theme song, after the Gummi Bears theme.
I wonder if the cartoon series is out on DVD yet? This would be the perfect time to release it.
