I saw Sweeney Todd last night. Nothing like a twisted slasher film to soothe a murderous spirit! The movie had three basic themes:
1) Blood spraying
2) Blood dripping
3) Blood puddling
Yep, if there's an oscar for best jugular-related special effects, this movie will win it for sure.
I knew it was a musical, but I was expecting the usual musical format, where it's mostly talking with a song every now and then. But it's actually sung almost completely--there were only a few snippets of spoken dialogue.
