ARGH, Motels, and Flights
I am currently in a shitty motel room in Chicago. Its only redeeming quality is that it has free internet. Among its unredeeming qualities are the number of bugs, the grossness of the beds, and the fact that it's IN CHICAGO. CHICAGO. Which, interestingly, IS NOT CLEVELAND. Ironically, Cleveland is where I was supposed to be by now. However, United Airlines, in its infinite wisdom, decided to cancel my flight and give me a standby ticket for a flight at 7:30 AM, which means I have to wake up at 4:30AM to get in a cab at 5:00AM to go to the airport by 5:30AM to MAYBE get a ticket. If I don't get a ticket (by the way I'm not going to bother trying to get the 3.5 horus of sleep I might have gotten by sleeping now) then I get to wait until 2:45PM to catch a flight and arrive at 5:00PM in Cleveland. ARGH!
